The central part of the tribute was the premiere of the aforementioned new work by Ferrer Ferrán. The composer explained the meaning: “The Athenaeum is – like the Goddess ‘Athena’ – wisdom, art, craftsmanship and motivates creative intelligence. In 125 years, he has been unbeatable and has shown his musical knowledge.
The event was carried out under the necessary sanitary security measures. The capacity was limited to 400 attendees and 100 musicians on stage. During the evening, the vice president of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community, Roberto Escobar, awarded the society with a distinctive of seniority. The musical entity of Cullera presented plaques in gratitude to the directors for their time at the head of the Band, to the mayor and deputy of Music Bands, Jordi Mayor, for his great support to the entity, and to the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig , for the support rendered.
