The ASU tried to exploit the situation but were discouraged – 2024-08-30 10:42:13

/ world today news/ Kiev considers Saturday, June 24, the most successful moment for the offensive. By the time Vladimir Putin addressed the citizens of Russia about the attempted armed rebellion, Ukraine’s armed forces had struck in four directions and suffered a local defeat that the US press called an “important lesson” for the US military.

The combat work of a serviceman of the sniper group of the Western Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia during the execution of front-line tasks in the zone of special military operation.

In an address to the citizens on June 24, 2023, the President and Supreme Commander said: “The battle, when the fate of our people is decided, requires the unification of all forces, unity, consolidation and responsibility. When everything that weakens us must be rejected, every struggle that our external enemies can and do use to undermine us from within.”

Putin emphasized that the actions that split our unity are a blow to the back of our country and our people and gave a historical example:

“Just such a blow was dealt to Russia in 1917, when the country was fighting the First World War. war. But her victory was stolen. Intrigues, shenanigans, politicking behind the backs of the army and the people became the biggest shock.”

“We will not allow this to happen again,” the Commander-in-Chief firmly assured.

However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, currently led by an unknown person (not only do we not know about this, but it seems that Kiev does not know either) saw Saturday, June 24 as the perfect time to intensify their offensive.

And against the background of news from Russia about an attempted armed rebellion of PMC “Wagner”, many Ukrainian reserve units, whose location was carefully hidden, came out of hiding and decided to move “to the front”. Where, as they say, they “lighted up”.

This made it possible to carry out several hundred targeted strikes on these enemy units by the forces of the Russian aviation, missile troops and artillery.

As Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov announced at a briefing on Saturday, during the day, remote strikes were carried out on 92 artillery installations on firing positions, manpower and military equipment in one hundred and twenty-four areas.

In addition, in close combat in the Donetsk direction, the active actions of the “South” troop group successfully repelled nine enemy attacks and more than 245 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

In the course of repelling attacks in the Zaporozhye direction, three tanks and 15 armored vehicles were destroyed, three attacks were repelled at the Vremeviev approach, two tanks and 6 armored personnel carriers were destroyed, and attacks in the Kherson and Krasno-Limansko directions were repelled.

In addition, in response to a strike on a road bridge across the Chongar Strait, pre-planned strikes were carried out on Saturday evening against a Storm Shadow cruise missile depot at the Ukrainian air base in Khmelnytskyi Oblast and the Ukrainian air bases in Kanatovo and Dnipro. The strikes hit their targets, the warehouse of cruise missiles was destroyed.

On Sunday, the offensive of the armed forces of Ukraine was suspended, and MORF troops continued to inflict losses on the open positions of the enemy.

According to the head of the press center of the “Center” group, Alexander Savchuk, heavy blows were inflicted on the divisions of the 63rd and 67th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the official information of the Zapad group, the crews of Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters and Su-25 attack aircraft of the Zapad aviation group carried out eleven missile-bombing strikes on nine areas of concentration of manpower, armaments, military and special equipment from the 14th and 103rd brigades of territorial defense, thwarted four attempts to rotate units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the front lines.

The recent failures of the Ukrainian troops impressed the American press, which biasedly follows the events in the area of hostilities.

In an American Greatness article published Sunday, columnist Christopher Roach made this emotional statement:

“The huge losses of the ASU in the offensive, this scandalous failure will serve as an important lesson for the United States and the cadets studying military science.”

We recall that at a meeting of the Security Council that took place last week, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, answering a question from the president about the losses of the enemy, reported that at least 13,500 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed since the beginning of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (June 4). The information was confirmed by the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev.

Over the past two days, units of PMC “Wagner” and “Akhmat” were also redeployed, which strengthened areas potentially dangerous for a breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the northern part of the Rostov region and in the southern part of Voronezh and Belgorod.

As the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, told the Russia-24 channel, the Wagner stormtroopers, which will continue to serve, will sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense in the coming days.
