The astonishing story of this Mickey T-shirt seen at the Coperni fashion show at Disneyland Paris

The news makes you smile. Quentin, a content creator named BlacklotProd on the networks, would have recognized his Mickey t-shirt, sold a few weeks before on Vinted, on a model during the Coperni fashion show, which took place at Disneyland.

Could Coperni have given us the strongest communication coup of Fashion Week? The brand presented its breathtaking fashion show at Disneyland Paris on October 1st.

Between Kylie Jenner as a surprise princess and the fireworks around Sleeping Beauty Castle, one passage particularly caught the attention of a spectator, who was watching the rebroadcast of the show. Quentin, called BlacklotProd on the networks, suddenly recognized one of his Mickey and Donald t-shirts, sold a few weeks before on the second-hand platform Vinted.

Coperni’s assistant designer who ordered on Vinted

In the wake of the Coperni fashion show, BlacklotProd (70k subscribers on TikTok, nearly 8,000 on Instagram and 4k subscribers on YouTube), published a comical post, to say the least, where he claims, with supporting evidence, that his t-shirt is is indeed found within the spring-summer 2025 collection unveiled by the two designers Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer.

The fan of the Disney universe therefore published the screen of the sale of the famous t-shirt on his Vinted account. By searching for the person who ordered the piece via the shipping slip, Quentin discovered that it was an assistant designer at Coperni. Especially since the buyer in question asked him, in English, if he could send the package quickly, indicating “it’s urgent” in her message.

Interviewed by Konbini, the content creator said: “When I saw this T-shirt on the runway, watching the livestream of the show, I went to my Vinted with the intention of removing mine from sale , I wanted to keep it after all. At that time, I didn’t yet realize that it was my T-shirt that I had just seen.”

“It’s a T-shirt that I bought when I was working in the United States, in Florida. It’s from a classic Walgreens in Orlando, it must have sold for thousands copies. It’s like if I bought it today at Leclerc, I had to pay around ten euros for it,” says Quentin.

And regarding this negotiation on Vinted, he mentions with humor: “Now that I know that it is a big brand that bought it from me, I tell myself that they are not close to two euros. [rires] I read on Twitter that the entire budget had gone to Kylie Jenner, that made me laugh.”

A communications stunt from Coperni?

It’s hard not to wonder if the operation was not premeditated by Coperni, who could have suspected that the passionate BlacklotProd was going to watch his show at Disney and potentially spot his t-shirt. Not to mention the fact that the designer assistance ordered in his name, allowing Quentin to find it in one click on the internet.

“I don’t see in what other world it wouldn’t be my T-shirt,” he says, even if the brand has yet to confirm anything.

A well-established communication move or a simple creative inspiration that fit perfectly with the Coperni fashion show, what is certain is that this story makes you smile and has galvanized social networks. In fact, Quentin’s post on X has been viewed no less than 1.5 million times!
