The Aspe film festival presents its awards

Dana, the thriller by Lucía Forner from Elche, won the Prize for the Best Short Film of the Valencian Community. This short film, shot almost entirely in Elche and premiered in Sitges, provides a great tour of the festival circuit.

The Audience Award went to the short film La banyera, by Catalan director Sergi Martí, while the Jury Prize went to Diversion, by French director Mathieu Mégemont, with the production of Canal + Francia.

In the Short Films for Equality section, the jury made up of members of Aspe Feminista decided to award a prize and a special mention. The Award for Best Short Film for Equality went to Nacional 106, by Arturo Artal and Juan Carrascal, while Écoutez-Moi, by Paula Armijo and Elena Bru, received the Special Mention from the Equality Jury for its creative value and the dissemination of values social.

Finally, Quid pro quo, by Álex Quiles, César López and Paco Sánchez won the Best Local Short Film Award.

During the gala the winning script of the script writing contest (Los besos que perdí, by Marcos Chanca) was also known, with € 500 and the direct selection to the next festival.
