Cyberpunk game The Ascent may be coming to PlayStation 4 and 5. Gematsu discovered that these two versions of the game had appeared with the Taiwan Age Rating Authority. For now, the game is only available for Windows and the current and previous generation Xbox.
Gematsu reports of his discovery on Twitter. The information appears to come from the Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information-website, but who now does a search for The Ascent of H2 Interactive, will not find the same results as in the screenshot. Perhaps the data was taken offline after discovery because it was there too early. The Ascent is now published by Curve Digital. H2 Interactive is believed to be the publisher of the PlayStation version in Asia.
The game has not been officially announced for these platforms. The developers acknowledged the demand for a PlayStation version, but have said ‘not having anything to announce yet’. It is possible that an exclusivity period has been stipulated by Microsoft, in which information about a PS version may also potentially not be given.
The Ascent is a twin-stick shooter with a cyberpunk theme. In addition, it contains many RPG elements that make different builds and there is support for co-op, both locally and over the internet. The game also got some cosmetic DLC recently. The game is therefore only available for Windows, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S and Xbox Game Pass.
