NASA’s Orion space capsule arrived safely on Earth, landing in the Pacific Ocean on Sunday, concluding the Artemis-1 mission, a more than 25-day journey around the Moon that expects humans to return there in the next few years . .
After being launched into the Earth’s atmosphere at a speed of 40,000 kilometers per hour, the capsule floated in the water with the help of three parachutes, as can be seen in NASA images.
After a few hours of testing, the capsule will be recovered from a US Navy ship near the Mexican island of Guadalupe.
