“A cultural event whose main principle is trust in reality cannot and must not exist in the conditions of the triumph of false mythology and the denial of the truth. We will return to a free and democratic Russia. We believe that,” the organizers of the festival said.
The opening of the festival was disrupted in Moscow on Thursday. The Oktjabr cinema received a phone call about mining and viewers had to leave the building.
Police then called on all festival-goers to disperse.
Manski was dropped in red at the entrance to the cinema.
