Last Friday, December 3, in an emotional act, a plaque was unveiled in tribute to Arq. Ignacio Biazzi, at the Campus Urbano headquarters of the Gastón Dachary University.
Arch. Biazzi, in addition to his professional activity, dedicated a large part of his time to academic life, being the Dean of the Department of Architecture, Design and Communication of the University, and manager and promoter of the Architecture career.
Likewise, he was part of the management of the Teaching Cycle for Professionals in 2019, in the role of coordinator. Continuing his academic development, he had submitted his Master’s thesis in Higher Education and was working on his Ph.D. thesis in Sustainable Development.
To commemorate his passing and his outstanding legacy to this institution, it was decided to identify the great hall of the Campus as the “Ignacio Biazzi Art Space”, where exhibitions of Architecture, design and computing are frequently held.
Relatives, teachers of the House, students and colleagues of this beloved professional accompanied the activity.
