In a meeting that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the National University of Entre Ríos, the Casa de Santa Cruz had an outstanding participation in the event “The art of the meeting: Round of mate and reading” that was held at the Casa de Entre Ríos last Thursday, July 6.
The team from the Department of Culture of Casa de Santa Cruz joined this initiative, where different passages of the work of the renowned Entre Ríos writer, Amaro Villanueva, were enjoyed. With tireless dedication, Villanueva delved into the study of popular languages and the cultures in which they are developed, with special emphasis on the language of mate and lunfardo.
The reading of his works was accompanied by the presence of the yerba mate sommelier, Andrea Venturini who, through a tasting, revealed the secrets of the various variants and characteristics of yerba mate, immersing himself in a unique sensory experience.
This cultural gathering is part of the festivities in honor of the 50th anniversary of the National University of Entre Ríos, an educational institution committed to promoting culture and art in the region.
