The global success “The Art of the Brick: LEGO® Art Exhibition” opens its doors tomorrow, June 28, in Toulouse!
After a successful world tour and stopovers in Paris, Atlanta, Milan and Brussels, Toulouse becomes the second city in France to host this original exhibition. Organized by the production company Exhibition Hub in collaboration with the Fever platform, the event takes up residence in the Espaces EDF Bazacle until the end of the summer. A total of 70 XXL sculptures made entirely of LEGO® by the artist Nathan Sawaya are exhibited there.
The freedom to create. Offer a thousand possibilities to his mind to show imagination. The famous plastic bricks have been dreaming young and old for decades. Artists have monopolized the original material to offer breathtaking works. After several dates around the world, the Art of The Brick exhibition finally arrives in Toulouse.
A million Lego bricks
The exhibition, to be seen at Espace EDF Bazacle, plunges visitors into the world of Nathan Sawaya: a world full of joy and color. With more than 1 million LEGO bricks, the artist has created no less than 70 works that inspire children and adults alike to reflect on the meaning of art, with a smile on their face. You will be able to see unique works such as original sculptures but also masterpieces of the art world such as David by Michelangelo, Starry Night by Van Gogh and Mona Lisa by Da Vinci.
Who says Lego, says creation! The youngest will be able to enjoy the playground where the constructions will be at the heart of the project.
