Like every month, neighbors and tourists came to the street Mariquita Sanchez de Thompson to amuse yourself, browse the stalls and purchase the various products offered by the entrepreneurs, which include: clothing, glass-fusion items, wooden and ceramic toys, chocolate delicacies, plants, leather goods, etc.

On this occasion, the “Samples in the sun” cycle came from the hand of Oscar Reina and his work live. The renowned artist from Mendoza works as a cartoonist, watercolourist, painter, writer and radio host. He is a native of Guaymallén and studied the Faculty of Plastic Arts specialized in Painting at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the UNCuyo.
Since 1984 he has participated in numerous exhibitions in the province and other parts of the country. His visual production highlights the legacy of the great painters of the well-known Mendoza landscape school. He is currently working on the essential iconography of the Cuyonia, which is completely unpublished.
The entertaining artistic agenda of the day included presentations by: Sergio Martínez with oral narration; Celina Galdame and her contemporary music; Charly Pereira, Nicolás Palma and Nahuel Jofré (members of the Tito Francia Municipal Guitar Orchestra), who closed with Latin American rhythms.
