The Art of being Family: Profile of the new normality

I have tried to create a profile of the new normality that I want to share.

As I mentioned, I will continue talking about the much in vogue “New Normal” lifestyle that is outlined after all this panorama of social quarantine dissipates. The big reflection is in who will we be and how will we live after all this? Without a doubt there will be tangential changes for some, more oriented to growth, to the positive; for others perhaps not so positive and, most likely, others will remain stagnant, all this will depend on the resources that each has generated to cope with this situation.

Personally I bet more for the positive, for extracting from all this experience contributions that nurture the growth of human potential, although I know and am clear that change is a personal choice. I also invite you to recreate yourself in this park of optimism, assuming that the new normality brings with it new opportunities for healthier coexistence.

I have tried to create a profile of the new normality that I wish to share with you, my respected reader, because it also seems to me a challenge to be able to reach the commitment to assume it as a new lifestyle:

1.- The new normality will inevitably be permeated by a higher level of awareness of personal care, prevention, attention to physical, mental and emotional health, with which new healthy life patterns, good nutrition, exercise can be generated physical, rest, etc.

2.- The social perspective will be broadened, moments with friends will be more appreciated, sharing will not be as a social show but will be driven by the need to give true value to friendship, meeting, sharing. Social relationships in terms of physical closeness are likely to be reduced to a small circle of family type and close friends.

3.- It will be normal to make purchases through digital platforms, filing the resistances, there will be more security to make them and it will be ensured in a certain way for comfort, time saving, etc. situation that before the quarantine was not done normally because its effectiveness generated insecurity.

4.- He will treasure time with himself, for rest, for recreation, for nutritional dialogue, to create greater spiritual awareness, to develop patience and tolerance, etc.

5.- Value will be given to nature, which after this period of protection has recovered wonderfully and we enjoy a less polluted environment, which we must value and care for even more to maintain it. This recovered nature is the ideal environment to share, play, rest and enjoy, alone and with your family.

6.- Schools, Universities and other educational entities are obliged to expand their vision of education by generating its updating and adaptation to impart it without limitations both in person and online, where the intention of learning as a growth tool is enhanced and thus have greater educational reach.

7.- Assimilate, as part of coexistence, order, respect for the other’s turn, not violating physical spaces and distances, foreseeing in human circulation not running over, taking care to take care of others, that is social conscience.

8.- In the communities, routines for integration, entertainment, exercise and celebrations can be cultivated. The community will be cared for as the most essential habitat.

9.- Expand the panorama of applicability of values such as solidarity, support, cordiality, respect, effort, compassion, humility, equality, etc.

10.- Companies will also make viable new work schemes, including teleworking, work by objectives and achievement orientation in their reorganization, which will be key competencies for organizational sustainability and sustainability.

11.- Unquestionably there will be a new normality that is more technological and consciously more humane. Technological skills will play a more important role. Informal online learning will be more valued. Virtual communities, both learning and social, will become part of people’s daily lives and cross borders.

12.- Last and not least, cultivating emotional intelligence will be the new ability to enter the world to achieve healthier and more human and social coexistence skills, validating that we are 100% emotional beings.
