The Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, announced on Tuesday July 26 that the arrival of the Tour de France in 2024 “will be a little early and will probably not be done in Paris”, as usual, on the Champs-Elysées, but “rather in Nice”.
Speaking at the microphone of Franceinfo, and asked about securing the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Mme Oudéa-Castéra explained that this relocation should make it possible to avoid the “dispersal of the security forces”. The Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11.
