The Arrival of Lucie Vondráčková in Ulica: Dividing the Audience and Predictions for the Future

The arrival of Lucie Vondráčková in Ulica divided the audience into two camps – those who like her and are looking forward to how she will diversify the series, and those who already suspect that she will oust Magda from the director’s chair. On that occasion, she will probably charm Prokop as well. In any case, it will certainly bring problems with it.

Singers everywhere you look

Do Street Soňa Čechová, performed by Lucie Vondráčková, arrived. Many people perceive the actress as a pleasant revival and a beautiful, likeable woman who they liked, for example, in comedy Buckthorns. However, not every viewer jumps with enthusiasm at the casting of a well-known singer in an endless series, which is starting to be compared to the mocked romance of Eliška and Damián for this very reason. After all, a singer was also cast there (in addition to the main role), namely Emma Smetana, whose acting talents are questioned by many. Some even they speculate the tone, whether TV Nova was inspired by Prima’s approachwhose face and main star, by the way, was the singer Eva Burešová some time ago.

However, it would be unfair to start judging a role before we actually give it a chance. Sonia has not yet reached Street to warm up properly, she just joined the gymnasium as the new deputy headmistress Magda Procházková (Veronika Čermák Macková) and at the same time as the missing gym teacher. Originally, she was supposed to replace Prokop (Ondřej Studénka), who, because of his insulted vanity, began to brandish his resignation. Despite his initial reservations, it is he who will get along well with Soňa. After all, they are quite similar, they both want to modernize teaching and are full of all kinds of creative ideas.

According to the viewers, Soňa Čechová will “make a fuss” in Ulica

Pravda, the circumstances of Sona’s departure from the elementary school where she was the principal are suspicious, to say the least. She explains to Magda that she had to leave for political reasons. She did not have a good relationship with the town hall and was not allowed to achieve what she really wanted. She wanted to change so many things, but she ran into “ties” everywhere and was finally told to “shut up and move on.” She was learning about herself that she was unyielding, problematic. Then they got rid of her when they accused her of financial evasion.

Magda just stares in disbelief and doesn’t understand why Soňa isn’t on trial if she’s wrongly accused. But is it really what they say? After all, we don’t really know her at all. We have no idea what her past and nature is. Such Julie Papežová, for example, also behaved as an empathetic, understanding and helpful therapist in the beginning, but how did it turn out? Will Soňa actually be a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Or will it be a welcome and friendly addition to the teaching staff? The audience is already arguing about how he will mix up the plot.

“She’s going to be in trouble,” writes to contribution Street one of the fans and another immediately adds: “He’ll definitely knock Magda out of the director’s chair.” Similar assumptions still prevail among the comments. “She likes it very much, but I think she’ll be too hrrr and go over the corpses and want to rip Magda out. And I think Prokop will be a fan of her.”

In summary, some welcome Lucia Vondráčková, others don’t necessarily like her, but practically everyone is curious about her and agree that “he’ll make a big splash in the Street”.
