The Arrest of Dwayne Davis: Witness in the Tupac Shakur Murder Investigation

The arrested person is 60-year-old drug dealer Dwayne Davis, also known as Kif D. He has already been charged with murder.

The AP says police raided Davis’ wife’s home about two months ago as part of an investigation into Tupac Shakur’s murder.

Tupac Shakur is one of the most influential rap artists whose work had a huge impact on the development and popularization of hip-hop.

Tupac Shakur died in September 1996 at the age of 25. The car the musician was in was shot at from another car. He suffered multiple injuries and died in hospital six days later.

To date, no arrests have been made in the Tupac Shakur murder investigation. Davis has been named as a witness in the case. He claimed in 2018 that he was in the car from which the shooting took place, but claimed that the shooter was his nephew, Orlando Anderson, with whom Tupac had a conflict. Anderson was killed in 1998. Before that, he categorically denied his involvement in Shakur’s death.
