The army: the arrest of a wanted man and the killing of a Syrian who was with him on a public road in Baalbek

The Army Command said “an Intelligence Directorate patrol stopped citizen (AJ), nicknamed ‘Ali Shadia’ on a public road in Baalbek. He is wanted on multiple arrest warrants for shooting at a patrol and at an army checkpoint, and for his involvement with others in the abduction of two Syrian children, Muhannad and Ghaleb Majed Aroub.

He underlined that “the wanted man had tried to flee in his car upon the arrival of the patrol accompanied by the Syrian (MA), and they shot at the patrol, while it was pursuing them. A hospital for treatment and investigations has been started under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
