Does Cristiano Ronaldo have a Colombian military ID? No, but he appears in one. It’s not a joke, it’s absolutely real.
Citizen David Godoy told his story, which quickly went viral, as it was printed with a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo.
He himself explained on his social networks that he had to contact the National Army to seek the correction of his document, but they told him that it was his responsibility.
The Recruitment and Reserve Control Command explained that the “digital military card is a free procedure that is carried out jointly between the citizen and the authority”, and that in the case of Godoy, seven images were uploaded “that do not correspond to those of the citizen”, which should not have happened since it was the user who attached the information.
Very expensive that it is to process the Military Book so that they generate it for me with the photo of Cristiano Ronaldo. 😐
I ask and they tell me that they don’t know who took my photos, that I have to take them in person again. Why are they playing with people’s time? @RECRUITMENTCO pic.twitter.com/5WlZReZFOT— David Godoy (@DaveGovi) March 14, 2023
“It is important to mention that a review of the procedures carried out in the processing of the military card will be carried out internally, which will help to fully identify if it was an individual conduct on the part of the user, which could generate responsibility prior authorization from the competent authority” the Army said in its statement.
