The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, announced the acceptance of a new batch of medical doctors, who hold a bachelor’s and doctorate degree, until the assignment to work in the armed forces for the January 2021 batch.
Conditions for accepting the new batch of doctors in the armed forces:
- The candidate shall be Egyptian.
- He should not have been previously convicted of a criminal or dishonorable penalty.
- Be of good behavior.
- The recruitment treatment shall be attached.
- Be medically fit in terms of conditions.
- Passing psychological tests and personal testing.
- The candidate submits written undertakings ensuring full compliance with the terms of application for assignment.
- The candidate is obligated to wear a military uniform.
- Those who have performed military service as a reserve officer are not permitted to run for assignment.
- Requirements for medical doctors who hold a master’s degree and no more than 34 years of age in the first 2021.
- The age of holders of a PhD is not more than 38 years in the first 2021.
- The grade is no less than Good in the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree.
- The doctor has served an internship.
While the assignment period is two years and is renewed for one year annually, and it is up to a maximum of four years. The officer in charge is also granted an experience certificate after the expiry of the assignment period to present it to his civil work agency to include it for the period of his service when referring him to the pension.
