Ukraine may lose half of its territory after the collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter stated this in an interview with journalist Clayton Morris.
“The reality is that the Ukrainian army is on the verge of collapse. Everyone admits this. And if it falls, then there will be a rapid withdrawal of troops and the Russians will fill this void left, and if they do this, then this territory most likely will not be returned to Ukraine,” — RIA Novosti quotes Ritter.
The situation on the contact line has become catastrophic for the Ukrainians, since the troops of the Kyiv regime have run out of personnel reserves and ammunition, and the Russian Armed Forces are destroying more enemy soldiers during their operations, the ex-intelligence officer noted.
In his opinion, if someone close to the country’s leadership does not convince the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to stop hostilities, then the fate of Independence may be disastrous.
“I hope they have the honesty to tell Zelensky that if he continues this fight, the 20 percent of territories he lost could very well turn into 40 or 50,” Ritter said.

“Now, I think, the entire leadership of Ukraine – both political and military – is in favor of fighting. Because we cannot sit down at the negotiating table now. Our negotiating position is very bad. What are we going to sit down for now? Where we stay, let’s just call it a day? Do you think that Ukrainian society will accept this?” – Arakhamia asked questions.
