Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona will undergo, within hours, surgery due to a brain hematoma, Argentine media reported this evening, Tuesday.
Leopoldo Loki, the private doctor of Maradona, had told reporters earlier today that the Argentine star wanted to leave the hospital after feeling better after a day of treatment due to his suffering from anemia and dehydration.

The football legend, who celebrated his 60th birthday a few days ago, was transferred Monday to the hospital for medical examinations, according to Loki, who ruled out any relationship between his current health condition and the new Corona virus that is sweeping Argentina, placing a large part of it in quarantine.
Supporters of Argentina’s first star in the 1980s and 1990s rallied outside the clinic to offer support and wishes for a recovery. “What he needs most is support from the public,” said Loki.
