Within the framework of the commemorative activities for next May 25, the Municipality of Rojas This morning, an emotional protocol ceremony was held on the Banderas esplanade of Plaza San Martín, with the raising of the national flag.
The event, which was part of the “Road to the Homeland” program, was attended by Mayor Román Bouvier, who was accompanied by students from the District’s Secondary Schools, municipal government officials, councilors, school counselors, municipal workers and the community in general.
During the ceremony, the verses of the Argentine National Anthem were sung, performed by the “Maestro José María Pagés” Municipal Music Band. The event also included a speech by Mayor Bouvier, who highlighted the importance of this national date and the value of the National Anthem as a symbol of our national identity.
A message of unity and patriotism
In his speech, Mayor Bouvier urged those present to reflect on the meaning of the Argentine National Anthem and to cultivate the values of unity, freedom and equality that this national symbol represents. “The Argentine National Anthem is a song to freedom, justice and fraternity. It is a call to the unity of all Argentines, regardless of our differences,” said Bouvier.
The celebration of the Argentine National Anthem Day in Rojas is part of a series of activities that the Municipality has organized to commemorate next May 25. Among these activities are a drawing contest for children and young people, a photography exhibition about the history of Rojas, and a concert of Argentine popular music.
