The debate team of the Arenas Atlántico School “Némesis”, made up of the 4th ESO students Alejandra Hernández Castillo, Ariadna Rodríguez Almeida, Carla Luque Pascual and María Mei Santana Ramos, and led by the teacher Gemma Zárate Martín, has been proclaimed winner of the Insular Debate League 2021, after winning the Heidelberg College in the semifinals and the Salesianos College in the final.

A sustained oratory on well-founded persuasive arguments and forceful refutations on the subject “Has the Canarian tourism model expired?” has made this team stand out in the semifinal and in the final, held on June 10, achieving victory in this pre-university debate league, organized by the Ministry of Education and Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands with the collaboration of Laurisilva Communicates.
