The Councilor for Health, Mariola Galiana, has indicated that after several complaints from neighbors and conversations with the College of Pharmacists the province has reached an agreement that the pharmacy of Arenales del Sol count with guard shift. Galiana has indicated that this pharmacy will rotate with the two pharmacies in Torrellano and the two in El Altet during the summer months with the aim of doing more fair distribution of shifts.
Mariola Galiana has ensured that to compensate the guards that the pharmacy of Arenales del Sol will not take place in winter their shifts will be carried out by opening 24 hours seven days a week. In addition, Galiana has indicated that she has managed to extend the usual hours of this establishment that will now also open Saturday afternoon and Sunday until noon.
On the other hand, the Councilor for Health has also indicated that lto La Marina pharmacy becomes part of the group of three pharmacies existing in the La Marina urbanization belonging to San Fulgencio which has two establishments that take turns to carry out guard shift. Mariola Galiana has reminded all the people of Elche that the Alicante-Elche Airport Pharmacy which is open every day in extended hours of 07:00 to 23:30 hours.
