The Arab Contractors Company announced the completion of the replacement and renovation of the Mental Health Hospital in Sohag, in preparation for its opening, during an inspection tour today, in the presence of Major General Tariq Al-Fiqi, Governor of Sohag, Dr.Menen Abdel-Maqsoud, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of Mental Health at the Ministry of Health, and the leaders of the company.
The company said in a statement, to her that the Mental Health Hospital in Sohag has an area of 6000 square meters, at a cost of about 70 million pounds.
Engineer Hussam El-Nozhi, head of the Assiut sector and North Upper Egypt, explained the importance of establishing these hospitals and specialized centers to develop the health system, and provide distinguished medical service to the people of Sohag in particular, and Upper Egypt governorates in general, indicating that the hospital area is 6000 square meters, of which 2500 square meters are buildings, and the rest are green areas. Playground and garden.
Engineer Yasser Mahsoub, director of the Assiut branch, stated that the hospital was designed on the latest code for modern hospitals to be the largest psychiatric hospital in Upper Egypt, with a capacity of 74 beds.
