The approximate date for the boxing match between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Tyson Fury is called March 4th. This was announced by Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren. According to him, a preliminary version of the agreement has already been sent to the Usyk team, which they should familiarize themselves with.
Warren also clarified that both Fury and himself insist the fight take place in the spring, and the sooner the better. This will allow the British boxer to have another big fight this year, but in the autumn.
It is not yet known exactly which arena will host the fight between Fury and Usyk. The Briton’s team wants to spend it where they can earn the most. The best option for them would be the London “Wembley”, the capacity of the arena and the entertainment of the promised event. Warren thinks a lot of people will want to see a fight in the ring between today’s top two heavyweights.
Neither Oleksandr Usyk nor his team has yet commented on the likelihood of a fight with Fury on March 4, 2023.
The Ukrainian has previously admitted that few believe he can beat the Briton, which gives him extra motivation as he prepares for the fight.
