61.3% of the population has a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the country, a proportion that rises to 92% among those over 60 and 91.7% in those over 50, according to information released by the Ministry of Health of the Nation.
Meanwhile, 84.9 percent of the population from the age of 18 began their vaccination schedule, according to the report.
The ministry also pointed out that 92.2% of people between 55 and 59 years of age began their vaccination schedule; 90.3% of those belonging to the age group between 50 and 54 years old; 87.9% of those between 45 and 49, and 90.6% of the next group between 40 and 44 years old.
86.3% of people aged 35 to 39 also received the first dose; 82% of those between 30 and 34; 76.1% of the age group between 25 and 29 as well as 71.2% of the group between 18 and 24 years old.
Meanwhile, 81.1% of those over 70 completed their scheme; 78.3% of people aged 60 or over, and 72.1% of people aged 50 and over.
46.3% of the population aged 18 or over already have both dosessaid the Health portfolio.
