The capital government informs that next week Phase 33 of the National Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 will be carried out in Mexico City in the Cuajimalpa, Cuauhtémoc, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta and Venustiano Carranza mayors, in which it is estimated immunize 293 thousand people over 18 years of age and with whom it is expected to reach coverage of 84.6 percent with the complete scheme.
The local Secretary of Health, Oliva López Arellano, said that this is very good news, since with this there is accelerated progress in the inoculation of the adult population by vaccinating in five municipalities with a second dose.
The general director of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP), Eduardo Clark García Dobarganes, explained that on Tuesday, October 19, the application of the second dose of the biological Pfizer-BioNTech to the population aged 18 to 29 years of the Cuajimalpa mayor’s office, whose first surname begins with the letters A, B, C; Wednesday October 20 D, E, F, G; Thursday October 21 H, I, J, K, L, M; Friday October 22 N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R; and Saturday October 23 S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z and lags. The venue will be the Expo Santa Fe and it is expected to immunize 42,500 people.
Meanwhile, in Cuauhtémoc, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta and Venustiano Carranza, a second dose of the biological AstraZeneca will be applied to 250 thousand 997 adults from 18 to 29 years old according to the initial letter of their first surname and according to the following calendar: Wednesday 20 October with the letters A, B, C; Thursday October 21 D, E, F, G; Friday October 22 H, I, J, K, L, M; Saturday October 23 N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R; and Sunday October 24 S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z and lags.
The venues are as follows: Cuauhtémoc – Vasconcelos Library and Campo Marte; Magdalena Contreras – University Olympic Stadium; Milpa Alta – Deportivo Villa Milpa Alta; and Venustiano Carranza – Palace of Sports (Pavilions).

It is important to keep your appointment, bring your proof of the first dose, arrive 15 minutes before and go with the National Health Card, if they have it. Also, if the first dose has not been received, it is also necessary to register with Locatel to receive an appointment.
The director of the Digital Government assured that by Sunday, October 24, it is expected that 98.7 percent of the population will have been vaccinated with at least one dose and 84.6 percent with a complete scheme.
To date, more than 12.4 million vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied in Mexico City, of which 7 million have received a dose and 5.6 million already have the complete schedule, representing 98.7 percent and 79 percent of the 7.1 million people over the age of 18, respectively.
