However, according to new speculations, the next version of this system, which is being mass-produced in most new cars, will learn to communicate directly with the vehicle.

Thanks to this, it will be possible to control, for example, ventilation, seats, safety assistants or the radio – these are the functions for which you currently have to go from the Apple Carplay to the native system.

According to Bloomberg, this is a function called IronHeart, which will be able to communicate directly with the car’s control units to force, for example, the air conditioning system to lower the temperature in the vehicle.

It also offers the ability to remotely control these features directly from Apple applications, including replacing the key with a phone. Today, only original car applications offer this feature.

However, one of the key points that needs more support during the development process, according to Bloomberg, is Apple’s relationship with carmakers, which are unlikely to give the technology giant full access to key features.
