Photos of the facelifted Renault Clio were taken in Valencia, Spain. They show the new nose of the compact car and its distinctive new light signature consisting of multiple LED strips in an arrow-shaped shape.
Two arrows pointing on either side of the front underline the new slim headlights, which flow seamlessly into the chrome strip over the radiator grille and over the Renault diamond logo. It also looks like the part of the radiator grille below the Renault logo will be wider. Let’s look for inspiration, for example, in the electric Megane.
Since this is only an upgrade, it is unlikely that Renault is planning completely different powertrain options for the new model. However, it is speculated that the automaker may decide to give the clio a plug-in hybrid drive known from the Captur crossover. It uses a 1.6-liter petrol engine and can provide up to 45 km of electric-only driving.
First introduced in 2019, the fifth-generation clio is now four years old, making it the perfect time for an update. The rejuvenated model is expected to be launched this spring.
