The influenza vaccination campaign in Piedmont kicked off on Monday 26 October and may continue beyond the month of December 2020.
E’ strongly rlimited partnership to the Piedmontese from 60 years and up ed to adults and children with pathologies at risk. For all these people it is free.
The Piedmont Region has ordered 1,100,000 doses of the vaccine (54 percent of the 700,000 used last year, with the intention of widening the number of people who get vaccinated as much as possible. The flu vaccine is Vaxigrip Tetra (inactivated tetravalent), available in greater quantities in single-dose format. The first supply is 400,000,000 doses, which will be followed by another three tranches in the weeks of 2, 9 and 16 November.
