The APICIL Group is committed to a more inclusive society through its second edition of the Inclusion Challenge

The inclusion of people regardless of their disability, sex, gender, origin… is one of the great social issues of today. To highlight citizens’ initiatives in favor of a more inclusive society, the APICIL Group, the 3rd French social protection group, organized a second edition of the Inclusion Challenge on December 20, 2022 in Grenoble.

About thirty applications with inclusive projects have been selected for this edition of the Inclusion Challenge. Among these, ten were selected by the vote of internet users and then presented to the fifteen members of the jury made up of employees, directors, institutions, partners and customers of the APICIL Group, who designated three winners.

The first project “A heart of life in the heart of the city”, developed in Arras, aims to provide an answer to the isolation of the elderly. The EHPAD Saint Camille has been transformed into an intergenerational village where it is possible to find a bakery, a nursery which can welcome children with disabilities or a hairdresser. Young and old can therefore meet and exchange together.

Resulting from a lesion or dysfunction of the central or peripheral nervous system, this unknown disease that generates omnipresent pain affects 5 million French people.

Finally the project “NOUR – Yoga for everyone! » wants to make the practice of yoga accessible to everyone and in particular to people in situations of exile, precariousness and vulnerability in the broadest sense. The collective comprises 100 teachers working in 25 social structures with 600 lessons given to 1,200 students each year.

For this second edition of the Inclusion Challenge, a favorite prize was awarded to the association TEP’S for his project “Inclusion at the heart of the adventure”. TOE‘S plays adventure TV shows such as Koh Lanta or Beijing Express for sick or disabled children. This allows them to travel beyond their limits.

Each of the winners received a prize of €5,000 fromAPICIL to help them grow their project. The Chief Executive Officer of the Group APICILPhilippe Barret, underlines the desire of the group of “move lines” in terms of inclusion: “By creating the Inclusion Challenge, the APICIL Group wanted to add its stone to the building to make society more inclusive”. “ It makes it possible to inform the general public of city and association initiatives and to promote the issue of inclusion as widely as possible. We are mobilizing different actors around this project, associations, public authorities and bloggers/influencers, it is together that we will be able to move the lines. And this year, we’re delighted to have our employees present their Coup de Coeur award, a way for us to continue to raise awareness of inclusion. The challenges of CSR, diversity and inclusion are an important priority for the APICIL Group, which is why we are committed to implementing numerous actions to advance this area, while encouraging other companies to do the same. For example, we created the site monentrepriseinclusive.com promote good practices in terms of inclusion. »
