OLED technology has taken hold in mobile phones and TVs, it is increasingly appearing in laptop or tablet displays, but in the case of computer monitors it is still a misery. Most often, you can find polished TVs with diagonals above 40 inches, or, conversely, separate “laptop” panels up to 16 inches. Something around 30 inches is on the market, but at inflated prices.
Dell sells a 34″ ultra-wide-angle panel with a resolution of 3440 × 1440 and a frequency of 165 Hz from 24 thousand. Asus has a 26.5″ model with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 px, a frequency of 240 Hz and a price from 30 thousand. And it is precisely against him that the brand’s novelty is aimed AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD with similar parameters, but a price of 999 euros (CZK 23,600).
It uses the same display from LG with a QHD resolution and a frequency of 240 Hz. There is also variable frame rate support with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certifications, VRR will also work on game consoles. The Xbox Series and now also the PS5 can deal with native resolution of 1440p and VRR.
The panel promises accurate colors and high brightness, which will shine up to 1000 nits in HDR peaks. There is not much to complain about the connector equipment and it is better than the more expensive Asus. The body has two DisplayPorts, two HDMIs (with a frequency of only 144 Hz), two USB music ports, a headphone output and stereo speakers.

Despite the fact that it is primarily a monitor for gamers, it has a fully adjustable stand with rotation, tilt, height adjustment and the option of portrait orientation. For the aforementioned gamers, the AOC has several features like an internal fps counter, a crosshair for aiming in games, different picture modes and also an RGB LED back light. According to the manufacturer, the typical power consumption is 35 W. AOC provides a three-year warranty for the monitor.
We have not yet found the AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD in Czech e-shops, but according to the company representative, the monitor should be available in June.
