The anti-“Wagner” campaign in the Russian Federation is gaining momentum: now military pilots are called to be considered accomplices of Prigozhin’s proxy rebellion.
On June 24, some military pilots of the Russian Federation refused to follow the order of the command and bomb the column of PMC “Wagner”, moving towards Moscow. Those who agreed were liquidated by Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mercenaries.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of two convocations Viktor Alksnis claims that the flight crews were ordered to strike at the Pantsir air defense system moving as part of this convoy. It was from it, according to the version of the Russian army, that the “Wagnerites” shot down three combat helicopters.
“Moreover, it was planned to strike with high-precision guided missiles, which created a minimum of threats to civilians.“, – says Alksnis.
Probably, the middle-aged politician forgot that the Russians could see the results of these strikes with their own eyes, when panicking aircraft smashed bridges in the Russian Federation along with civilian cars, trying to cut off the path of advance of Prigozhin’s militants.
However, some pilots refused to comply with the order. Now the former parliamentarian calls not to consider these military heroes.
“These pilots committed a military crime by not following orders. And now, obviously, they will go to a military court, which used to be called a military tribunal. And you don’t need to feel sorry for them, and even more so try to make heroes out of them.“, – says Alksnis.
It is worth noting that after June 24, Russian propaganda turned its banners 180 degrees and began to accuse PMC “Wagner” in all sins, although before that on the air of various talk shows Prigozhin’s mercenarieslike himself, were called almost the most outstanding heroes of the Russian Federation.
