The Anti-Crime Desk will be directed by the lawyer Iolanda Cennamo(codacons lawyer and forensic criminologist, as well as special guardian of the minor at the Court of Vallo della Lucania), who was also entrusted with the task of coordinator of the various Consumer Helpdesks established by the Codacons Cilento office, directed by the lawyer Bartolomeo Lanzarain around ten municipalities in the Cilento area.
«The anti-crime desk will first of all guarantee that victims of crimes deriving from unhealthy emotional relationships are listened to, in order to be able to activate all the appropriate protections for the defense of their person and their rights. In particular, the Codacons– underlines Iolanda Cennamo – will provide legal advice on criminological analysis and of a relational-psychological nature to help victims free themselves from the terror and anxiety that too often manifest themselves in those who are subjected to persecutory and violent conduct; in order to allow the victim of the crime to overcome their fears and to prepare themselves in the most serene mental state possible, the first real defense against the persecutory and violent acts carried out by the stalker and the tormentor. This opportunity is also offered to the local Municipalities that have joined the initiative of the Consumer Help Desk at their offices, such as that of Casal Velino, Ceraso, Moio della Civitella, Pollica, Cannalonga, San Mauro Cilento and others, on the basis of the laudable contribution to the fight against illegality, carried out for years in the area by the lawyer.
