On May 5, next Tuesday, PlayStation Plus members will be able to download two more games for free. This time it’s about Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skylines, like this announced Sony on this week. These are somewhat smaller titles than various PlayStation Plus games in recent months and the announcement was not very popular.
Many people have expressed their dissatisfaction with May’s free PlayStation Plus games through various channels, but perhaps the most illustrative is the relationship between likes and dislikes on YouTube. At the time of writing, the announcement video on the official PlayStation EU channel (with over 176,000 views) only 1,500 likes and no less than 10,000 dislikes. Also on the PlayStation Access channel is one video about the upcoming PlayStation Plus games and it currently has a little more than 5,000 likes compared to more than 14,000 dislikes.
These figures say something about the sentiment surrounding the PlayStation Plus games in May and we can say that the receipt of the announcement is very negative. If we look at Sony’s announcement videos from the last few monthsMay 2020 is the worst month received in a long time. After all, many videos from the past few months have considerably more likes than dislikes.
