The anniversary of November 17 is commemorated on Wenceslas Square by the Concert for the Future – ČT24 – Czech Television

The celebrations of the 17th anniversary with the Concert for the Future continue on Wenceslas Square. According to the organizers, more than 130,000 people gathered here last year. This year, however, due to pandemic measures, the concert takes place in a closed area and is broadcast on the Internet. In difficult times, according to the organizers, it is even more important to remember the values ​​that make us live in a free state. For example, the rector of Mendel University will speak Danuse Nerudova, Lenka Krobotová with actors from Dejvice Theater or former German president Joachim Gauck. Of the musicians, they will play, for example Plastic People of the Universe or Tomas Klus.
