The film tells the story of a young Czech woman who marries her classmate Nazir to exotic Kabul. He has already won the Jury Prize at the largest and most prestigious animated film festival in Annecy, France, and the main prize at the largest Latin American film festival in Guadalajara, Mexico (FICG). It was created according to the model of Petra Procházková in the company Negativ with the participation of domestic and foreign co-producers.

Pavlátová returned from the USA a few days ago, where she promoted the film as part of the Golden Globes campaign and also took part in mandatory pre-Oscar distribution. The director and artist has already received a number of awards, including an Oscar and Golden Bear nomination from the Berlinale.

Other Best Drama in the category are In the Heart Rhythm, about a teenage daughter with deaf parents, the sci-fi film Dune, and the biographical work King Richard: The Birth of Champions about tennis players Venus and Serena Williams. The latter, together with the musical West Side Story and the comedy Licorice Pizza, has four nominations.
