IN PROGRESS Discovering wildlife photography. on view until the end of October The Les Troubadours media library is currently hosting a fascinating exhibition of animal photographs taken by the talented Jérémy Kohut until the end of October. This young, passionate photographer also offered a discovery workshop dedicated to the art of capturing wildlife in images.

This event attracted a large audience, made up of visitors who came not only to admire his photos, but also to discuss his passion. While some were present to discover the exhibition, others, amateur or experienced photographers, came to discuss techniques and equipment.

Jérémy Kohut, for the occasion, had brought a large part of his equipment: binoculars, drone, camera, lenses, photo traps, tent and camouflage clothing, tripod and monopod. He shared his experience and his journey, explaining that his passion for photography began with macro before quickly evolving towards wildlife. Jérémy Kohut also insisted on the importance of research in wildlife photography. “What excites me most is studying and learning about animals through videos or books, even before photographing them. »

Among his favorite subjects, he cited the fox, but also the kingfisher, a bird that is particularly difficult to locate. Throughout the workshop, discussions increased, with participants questioning the photographer about his shooting techniques, his location methods, and his love for nature. A workshop full of discoveries, which has inspired more than one to capture the beauty of the animal kingdom during their next encounters with nature.
