The amount of assets of the Latvian banking sector in the first half of this year has increased by 0.5% or 110.09 million euros and at the end of June was 23.313 billion euros, according to the data of the Financial Industry Association. The amount of assets in the first half of this year has also increased “BlueOrange Bank “- by 11.6% or 64.491 million euros, reaching 619.305 million euros,” Rigensis Bank “- by 68.6% or 172.985 million euros, reaching 425.085 million euros,” Signet Bank “- by 17% or 33.658 million euros , reaching 231.292 million euros, as well as “LPB Bank” – by 2.6% or 5.137 million euros, reaching 201.162 million euros.

In turn, the amount of assets for the Latvian branch of Luminor Bank decreased by 16.9% or 717.337 million euros in the respective period, amounting to 3.518 billion euros at the end of June. The amount of assets decreased sharply with the branch of OP Corporate Bank in Latvia – by 45.2% or 333.604 million euros – to 404.068 million euros.

The amount of assets for the “Regional Investment Bank” has also decreased – by 6% or 17.887 million euros, amounting to 281.227 million euros at the end of June, “Baltic International Bank“- by 10.7% or EUR 25.941 million, amounting to EUR 215.414 million at the end of June,” Industra Bank “- by 0.6% or EUR 1.257 million, amounting to EUR 193.85 million at the end of June,” PrivatBank “- by 9, 7% or 20.731 million euros, amounting to 192.327 million euros, as well as Expobank – by 7.9% or 5.546 million euros, amounting to 64.232 million euros.

At the same time, the data do not mention “Rietumu banka”, which is not a member of the association. According to information published by Rietumu Bank, the bank’s assets on June 30 this year were 1.566 billion euros, which is 8.9% or 153.141 million euros less than at the end of last year, thus ranking the bank in fifth place in terms of assets.

The data also does not mention the Latvian branch of BigBank.
