The general assemblyAmicale de Condom for voluntary blood donation took place in person.
Lilou Patelli, president, Eliane Lhari Deranlot, treasurer, Fabienne Rouilhes, secretary, and Nicole Hari Trzmielewski attended while Josette Pecabin, Annie Gaiotti and Graziella Vicentini apologized for their absence.
Thanks to its very important effort in the field of communication, theAmicale de Condom for voluntary blood donation sees the number of donors continue to increase, even in 2020, which could have made donors more cautious.
To bring these donors, old and new, to come and offer their blood, the association’s volunteers multiply the information media: 100% radio, various social networks, leaflets in the sub-prefecture but also in the surrounding municipalities, display at traders and, of course, the local press.
Here is the quantified assessment of the collection days:
- February 4 & 5: 174 presented, 142 donors including 18 new ones,
- 14 & 15 avril : 135 presented, 118 donors including 19 new ones,
- July 7 and 8: 170 presented, 149 donors including 18 new ones,
- October 6 and 7: 174 presented, 154 donors including 16 new ones,
totaling 653 present which turned into 563 donors, including 71 new.
Compare with 2019 figures which were 626 present, 528 donors and 36 new.
The office can be very satisfied with this sharply increasing annual attendance despite the figures for the collection for the month of April which suffered the effects of the first confinement and yet, despite this decrease, compared to 2019 – 154 presented, 128 donors and 12 new – the results of this second collection in 2020 are more than honorable, given the context of the health crisis.

- Tuesday April 13 and Wednesday April 14, 2021
- Tuesday July 6 and Wednesday July 7, 2021
- Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 October 2021
With the possibility of adding an additional half-day, the day before the two days already reserved, namely Monday April 12, July 5 and October 4, at the same times, namely from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This activity report is unanimously approved by the members present, as was done by following the financial report. A budget with an exceptional surplus due to reduced expenses due to Covid-19.
The president, Lilou Patelli, concludes by thanking the volunteers for their involvement, especially during the fundraising afternoons, but also all the donors, new and old, who are working to save lives thanks to their generous gesture.
