In the United States, the results of the national award “Car, Crossover and Pickup of the Year in North America” (North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year – NACTOY) were summarized. This year, an expert jury, including several dozen automotive journalists, selected winners in each of the three categories from among 47 candidates in three rounds.
The Acura Integra was named best passenger car, the electric Kia EV6 was named best crossover, and the battery-powered Ford F-150 Lightning was best pickup truck.
The Acura Integra liftback debuted in the spring of 2022 and has had a successful launch in the North American market, thanks in large part to a starting price of $31,000. The NACTOY jury gave the model 174 points, which put the Integra ahead of the other two finalists, the Genesis Electrified G80 and the Nissan Z.

Crossover of the year, the Kia EV6, battled the Genesis GV60 and Cadillac Lyriq for the win, finishing with 258 votes. “The EV6 is a well-made electric vehicle that’s fun to drive, easy to charge, and looks good,” CBS Radio Network’s Jeff Gilbert summed up the selection. AutoEvolution’s Matt DeLorenzo, for his part, favors this model for its impressive range, style and comfort at the level of premium brands.
