The American mass murderer Ronald DeFeo Jr. is dead

It is CNN which mentions the death. Ronald DeFeo Jr. died March 12 at Albany Medical Center in New York. He turned 69 years old. The cause of death is not yet known.

In 1974, Ronald DeFeo Jr. sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing his mother and father and four siblings in their home in the village of Amityville, east of New York. He was only 23 years old when he committed the killings.

Ronald DeFeo Jr. still served his sentence when he died.

After the killings, Amityville has been the inspiration for the book and film series “The Amityville Horror”.
