Motorola Razr 5G will have a successor? This surprising news was shared by the CEO of Lenovo himself. According to him, we can count on a significant jump in performance!
Although Samsung is today the leader among folding smartphones, it was Motorola that was the manufacturer that in 2019 was the first to present to the world a folded smartphone with a flap. The taste of the device was added by the fact that the new Motorola Razr referred to the name and design of the model released 16 years ago.
Unfortunately, the success of the Motorola foldable smartphone was not as great as the Galaxy Z series from Samsung. This is due to the specification. Motorola was expensive – at the time of its official premiere in Poland, it was priced at PLN 7299. Let’s add medium-range components to this and we have a set that many users have not been tempted by. It is worth mentioning that in 2020 there was also a variant with 5G connectivity with slightly improved components.
A lot of time has passed since the premiere and due to the low interest in the equipment, many did not expect the continuation of the series. It turns out, however, that Lenovo is already planning its debut improved folding box with a flap!

More powerful Motorola Razr 3?
Chen Jin, CEO of Lenovo Mobile, confirmed on the Chinese Weibo portal that work is already underway on the successor of Motorola Razr 5G. This time, according to the head of the brand, we can count on better performance, improved design, and a completely new interface. The Motorola Razr 3 will also receive a larger display than its predecessor.
The Motorola Razr 5G was equipped with a 6.2-inch main screen and an external 2.7-inch display. The arrangement was her heart Qualcomm Snapdragon 765Gand the battery had a capacity of only 2800 mAh – it’s really not much by today’s standards.
