The last, tenth generation Honda Civic is an amazing driving car, in which you will not find a weak engine. Even the basic three-cylinder liter pulls better than the naturally aspirated 18-liter in its predecessor. However, the three-cylinder is atypically problematic here, and that is also the reason why you mainly come across it in bazaars.
The generational jump between the ninth and tenth generation of the Civic was indeed a tiger. Everything has changed. The design style, the chassis platform (basically already with a multi-element rear axle) and the engine range, in Europe only consisting of turbo engines. Thanks to the fantastically tuned chassis, the model has a significantly sportier tone, but despite the increased dimensions, it has compromised a little on the previous practicality. Because of the conventionally designed floor with the fuel tank in front of the rear axle, you will no longer find the magical rear seats with folding seats. Also, getting into the car requires a more flexible body, sitting low in the front like in the formula.
No more station wagon
You will no longer find the Tourer Kombi in this generation. The tenth Civic was designed as a unified global model that looks the same in Europe, America and Asia. Of the three existing body variants, only two were sold in Europe: the 5D hatchback and the 4D sedan. European versions of the hatchback were produced in the UK (except for the facelifted Type R, which was imported from Japan), sedans in Turkey. Few sedans were sold in our country and they are very rare in bazaars. Because they had better quality in detail and didn’t even feature the risky basic three-cylinder, they’re overall a good buy regardless of version. You just have to put up with the small trunk opening and the fact that you don’t attach a roof rack to sedans (as you do to hatchbacks equipped with a panoramic sunroof).
