Tepic, Nay. This afternoon the Amado Nervo 2024 Cultural Festival will begin at the Ali Chumacero Pueblo theater.
Florencia Karmina Becerra, director of this festival, reported that the start of the medal for artistic merit and the Amaro Nervo national poetry prize, which will last from November 24 to 30 with the participation of more than 200 artists.
The interesting thing about this festival is that the events will not remain concentrated only in this capital but will now be held in fourteen of the 20 municipalities of the entity, including Ixtlán del Río, Ahuacatlán, Amatlán de Cañas, Bahía de Banderas, Santiago Ixcuintla , Acaponeta, Rosamorada and Compostela.
“We have more than 120 events in their entirety in which more than 110 local artists and more than 70 artists of national and international stature participate,” reported Ricardo Gutiérrez Martínez cultural director of the State Council for Culture and the Arts of Nayarit (CECAN). at a press conference recently held to publicize the cultural event, the most important in the state.
While the general director of CECAN, Bertha Lilia Arce Sánchez, highlighted the need to bring art and culture closer to the population. “This festival is a space to bring together outstanding artists and cultural promoters from the local and national scene, and to promote social inclusion and plurality through the artistic experience.”
