The alternative “Stūrī Zēvele” returns with a new song and video

The song “Neviens” is the name of the latest composition of the Latvian alternative group “Stūrī Zēvele”, created four years after the group’s last album “Labvakar” published.

Unusual and unexpected electronic music of the song “Neviens” is a collaboration with the members of “Stūrī Zēvele”, the lyrics were written by Kārlis Vērdiņš. A video version was also made for the song, which tells about the thoughts and feelings of an anonymous meeting at an unnamed Riga high school in the fall of 2024. The video was created by the -art by Raitis Bērziņš and Zigmunds Ziemelis from the “Artava” studio. Artist Anna Baklane’s work is used for the song’s visuals.

“Stūrī Zēvele” was founded in 2006 in Kuldīga, but for the past 14 years its main place of work is Riga. The group consists of Klāvs Lauls (vocals, guitar, keys), Elizabete Milta (vocals, keys, melody), Justine Kuznecova (flutes), Maija Ušča (bass) and Uldis Gedra (drums).
