In the case file of Russian investigators, Geremeyev does not appear as a possible commissioner or organizer of Nemtsov’s murder. Investigators reportedly tried to interrogate him, but to no avail, but then left Russia.
In the case of Nemtsov’s murder, Geremeyev had the status of a witness and was wanted for search, but he hid from the investigators and did not give any evidence.
