The police have announced that the alleged mistreatment of the celebrity Ayu Thalia by Nicholas Sean Purnama has not been proven. Then, how did Sean’s father, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) respond?
“There is no special response,” said Sean Purnama’s lawyer, Ahmad Ramzy, when contacted on Saturday (4/12/2021).
According to Ramzy, from the beginning Ahok only told Sean to be cooperative in dealing with legal cases. Ahok, added Ramzy, asked his son to obey the law until the results of the investigation were submitted to the police.
“I’ve said that from the start, Mr. BTP said, ‘Just go through the legal process, we respect the existing legal process’. That means, until now it was finally stopped, I have said that. But there is no special response (Ahok),” said Ramzy.
After it was stated that there was no evidence of persecution, Ramzy said, Sean’s party now asked the police to immediately examine Ayu Thalia. Sean is known to have made a report back to Ayu Thalia over allegations of defamation and defamation.
“Hopefully it will be processed quickly and summoned Ayu Thalia to account for her actions,” explained Ramzy.
He said that there was no apology from Ayu Thalia to his client after the police announced that the report of abuse that was alleged on Sean was not proven. Ramzy said his report back to the celebgram continues to this day.
“There hasn’t been (an apology from Ayu Thalia). Until now, we are continuing the legal process,” he said.
Ramzy also said that a number of new evidences had been given to investigators regarding the defamation report he submitted to Ayu Thalia. The evidence was in the form of Ayu Thalia’s interview in the media about her statement claiming to have been a victim of acts of persecution from Sean Purnama.
“Yesterday Friday we had an examination and have submitted evidence as well, links and videos which we consider to be evidence related to our police report,” explained Ramzy.
