He Alicante College of Physicians (COMA) asks the Generalitat Valenciana to decree the mandatory use of the mask, as other autonomies are already doing and seeing “how part of the citizenry behaves.” The president of COMA, Isabel moya, considers that “if they confirm us again it would be proof that we have not learned anything”, while expressing concern about the latest outbreak in the Community focused on Santa Pola.
Moya assures that the debate on the mandatory use of masks “is not on the table” right now in the Valencian Community, but that seeing what is happening in Lleida or in points of the Basque Country, “how sprouts behave and to avoid a more conflictive situation”, it should be.

They also advocate from the College of Physicians for conducting tests PCR to those groups that come to carry out an activity limited in time to the Valencian Community or to tourists who spend the night in hotels. It would be a way, he says, of “avoid risk” for the rest of the population.
And it reminds the Ministry of Health, with an eye to autumn when it is necessary to attend to this increase in suspected cases, that it has the “obligation” to guarantee healthcare personnel access to the necessary material and that even today “is not guaranteed” in all areas.
