The compilation “ABBA Gold” with the biggest hits of ABBA set a record by staying 1000 weeks in the British album chart, the BBC reported.
The album, released in 1992, is the second bestseller of all time in the UK after Quinn’s “Greatest Hits”. The Swedish band has sold 5.61 million copies of the album.
He has been in the British Top 100 for 19 years and 12 weeks.
The album has topped the charts for eight weeks over the years and is currently in seventeenth place. It is the band’s best-selling album, with more sales than Voulez-Vous and Arrival, which also topped the UK charts in the 1970s.
